Froggy Cupcake Cake
This was my first attempt making a cupcake cake. It was lots of fun! This originally was supposed to be for a friends little boy's birthday but that party had to be postponed. So I gave this cake away to one little girl who was celebrating her first birthday the same week! These were rainbow cake cupcakes and it was decorated with butter cream icing! Happy Birthday Kaelyn! I hope you enjoyed your cake!

Edmonton Oilers Jersey Cake
This cake was a lot of fun to do. I was excited because I had never done a cake before. This was a chocolate cake with vanilla filling. It was decorated with butterscotch butter cream. VERY blue butter cream!!!! These were very intense colors and I am sure that more than a few guests had some blue teeth! The team logo was added on the side. This was a frozen butter cream transfer. Happy Birthday Jeff! I hope you liked your cake!

Little Lion
Doll Cake
This cake was a for a little girl's birthday. She really likes her dolls, so this was very appropriate! This was a vanilla cake with mixed berry filling. It was decorated with butter cream icing and fondant decorations. I REALLY liked doing this cake and I loved how it turned out! This client always picks out the best ideas! Happy Birthday Maeve!

Baby Blocks
So, personally I think this cake is pretty cool. I was excited to do it, seeing as I had not done something like this before. But...it was a LOT harder than I thought it was going to be! I thought working on a smaller scale would be easier, but it really wasn't. I'm still pleased with how it turned out and hopefully the recipient was too! This cake was made up of 3 inch cake squares. Each square was either vanilla cake, chocolate cake or a combination of vanilla and chocolate. They were filled and iced with butter cream icing and covered in fondant. They were then decorated with royal icing decorations. Congratulations to C and K and little baby L!!
