This was my first attempt making a cupcake cake. It was lots of fun! This originally was supposed to be for a friends little boy's birthday but that party had to be postponed. So I gave this cake away to one little girl who was celebrating her first birthday the same week! These were rainbow cake cupcakes and it was decorated with butter cream icing! Happy Birthday Kaelyn! I like your cupcake cake. I am decorating a cake for my son's 2nd birthday nect week and I will be attempting to do a cupcake cake with mickey mouse's face. Help!!! Did you just eyeball it when you outlined everything? Do they have templates I could use for tracing? I just want the lines to align with the shape of his hat where it meets his face....Help!
