I did this cake for my daughters fifth birthday. Wow! This cake was a lot harder than I thought it would be. I knew it would take time, but it was very time consuming. The humidity also did not help. I just recently made this cake for my daughter's third birthday. She really likes bugs and animals lately, so I wanted to incorporate that theme. My sister made the little blue ant and I made the other two. This cake took a fair bit of time to make, but I thought the end product was worth it. This is a castle cake that I just recently made. This one was a lot of fun to do and my girls loved it! Too bad we couldn't keep it! Anyways, it was all white cake. The top layer was filled with butter cream and the bottom layer was filled with berry filling. It was iced in butter cream icing.
