Turtle Cake

I just finished this cake for my son's 1st birthday! I think he is just the cutest little thing! This is a combination of chocolate and rainbow chip cake. I filled it with a butterscotch flavoured butter cream. It was then decorated with fondant and butter cream icing. Happy Birthday Shane! We love you very much and I hope you love your cake!

Castle Cake

I did this cake for my daughters fifth birthday. Wow! This cake was a lot harder than I thought it would be. I knew it would take time, but it was very time consuming. The humidity also did not help. Let's just say a few tears were shed...especially when half of it fell on the floor! I did manage to rescue it and she never noticed. This was a vanilla cake witha strawberry buttercream filling. It was covered in fondant and decorated with more fondant flowers and edible sparkles. Happy Birthday Nicole!

Bug Cake

I just recently made this cake for my daughter's third birthday. She really likes bugs and animals lately, so I wanted to incorporate that theme. My sister made the little blue ant and I made the other two. This cake took a fair bit of time to make, but I thought the end product was worth it. It was a vanilla cake with a strawberry butter cream filling. All the decorations were either made out of fondant or gum paste. Happy Birthday Emily!!!
