Frisian Flag Cake

This cake was done for a friend of mine whose father turned 70. He comes from Holland, and the province of Friesland. He loves all memorabilia having to do with Friesland so this cake was perfect for him. This was a vanilla cake with berry filling and buttercream icing.

Little Mermaid

This cake was for my oldest daughter's birthday. She is really into The Little Mermaid right now, so this is what she got! This was a vanilla cake with berry filling. Ariel was star tipped onto the cake. I was not entirely pleased with the final results but Nicole loved it, so really that is all that counts!

Dora and Diego

This was a cake for my daughter and my good friends son Griffin. This was a vanilla cake with berry filling. It was covered in a sky blue fondant and star tipped with Dora and Diego. Both kids very very happy with the cake!!

My Latest Creation

This is a birthday cake that I just completed! It is my favourite cake to date! It was a lot of fun to do. I was really able to use my imagination on this cake. The background on this cake was sprayed with color and the characters were done in a star tip. My favourite part was all the leaves on the trees. It took awhile to make all those colors, but it was worth it!

Character Pans

Today they have a wide assortment of character pans that you can rent and decorate. These are two of the pans that I did for birthdays. The cupcakes were an addition to the Lightning Mcqueen Cake. These work great for children's parties!

My first cake

This was the first cake that I made in my first cake decorating class. I began classes with Wilton in June 2006. We ate this for Fathers Day. It was really sweet but good! This was a butter pecan cake with standard buttercream icing.
